Queen Margaret’s was established in 1901 and moved to Escrick Park in 1949 taking over the magnificent country house there that dates back to 1758. Now, one of the few all female private schools in England Queen Margaret’s actually takes it’s name from Queen Margaret, Queen of Scotland. Set in almost 75 acres of beautiful parkland Queen Margaret’s provides an amazing and peaceful place for our students to live and learn.

Escrick Park is just 6 miles from the historic and beautiful City of York and within easy reach of Manchester, Liverpool, England’s East Coast and less than two hours by train from London.
